Social interaction / Emotional Wellbeing

Children’s learning, development and wellbeing are directly influenced by their daily interaction with other children, adults, their families and the environment. Child development research has shown that in order to be prepared for the future, children need opportunities to develop critical social interaction skills that civil societies value.

Solution / Introduction

The team has conceptualized mobile learning units, showcasing concepts for activities linked to early child development and health. Content has been developed by early childhood experts and activities include art, music, sport and fitness, cooking, reading, and many more.

The team has also developed a series of social interaction programs to enhance quality interactions in children’s daily experiences.

In addition to this, the team has also conducted stakeholder surveys to listen to the voices of children, families, education practitioners, and leaders. They created a digital resource framework for all stakeholders to use for the sole purpose of supporting children and their emotional wellbeing.
